Chris, what a wonderful way to take an opportunity to turn a challenge into a blessing! I've only met you a couple times, but was very impressed with your thoughts and love of the business. Take care of yourself, and I'd love to buy you lunch!

Chris, You continue to be an inspiration! You WILL be missed at YUM! However, as others have written, you seem to be following directly where "He" is leading you. Watching you lead your life with a "heart of a servant" is incredibly humbling and challenges us to seek Higher.

with smiles and love, Becca

Chris,

You are like the energizer bunny, you just keep going & going & going....!!! How wonderful that you have the energy, desire, & know how to start a business that has not only a need but so much thought & love put into it. How many people have looked for just the right thing to give someone who has just learned that they have the disease. God has truly worked through you to help so many others!

I am sorry to hear that we will not be seeing you around the office anymore, it really is YUM's loss. However, it will allow you more time to devote to a much more rewarding project & one who's CEO is GOD & he will never let you go!

Keep us posted on your health as well as on your Blessing Bags. You never know when one of us may need to give one to someone or need one ourselves.

God Bless You In All Ways!

I met Chris Benson, because I was asked to. I had the same kind of cander Chris had. I also went to MD Anderson hospital (literally the best cancer hospital in the world) and the day I was told that I was through with chemo (which Chris and I finished after 6 treatments instead of 9 as we were told it would be) I was asked by the Research Nurse if I would talk to a lady from Kentucky about my experience of going through the Clinical trial. I told the Research Nurse "Of course I would be glad to speak with Chris or anyone else about the experience" Chris had asked to speak with someone that had already been through the clinical trial. What a BLESSING it has been for me and my husband to have the opportunity to meet Chris and Stewart. It has been a true blessing to meet such Christian people. I kept up with Chris when she was going through her treatments. I knew when she would be in Houston going through her treatments. Meeting her has been such a joy!! It was so exciting the time weboth were in Houston for check ups at the same time. Eventhough we had talked and e-mailed many times it was so exciting to get to meet her in person. How blessed I have been. Going through cancer was not to me considered a valley in my life. It was a sweet time if you can imagine such a thing. I slowed down a lot and really really enjoyed life. There was no rushing going here and there. It was a relaxing time in my life. The Lord had gone before both me and Chris and paved the way for us. We both are so Blessed and both know that it was totally the Lord's hand in it all that brought us both through the experience of cancer.

I have known Chris and Stewart Benson before and after cancer. They are both overflowing with God's love and are an inspiration to everyone around them.

It has been amazing to watch Chris's attitude through the chemo and beyond. What a contrast to see Christ carrying someone rather than someone trying to control on their own. We have all been blessed to be apart of Chris's life and what a future she has!

May God bless her and her family in more ways than we can imagine. Consider yourself blessed if you get to meet her and Stewart.
